Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope your winter break was filled with rest, joy, and time with family. As we step into January, our school community is energized and ready for a wonderful start to 2026. This month is about setting goals and building strong habits. Encourage your child to reflect on what they’d like to achieve—whether it’s reading more books, making new friends, or practicing perseverance. Together, we can make this a year of growth and joy.
Our school thrives when we work together. January is a great time to reconnect:
- Encourage kindness at home and school.
- Celebrate effort as much as achievement.
- Stay engaged by checking backpacks, emails, and school updates regularly.
Cold weather can be challenging, but it’s also a chance to build resilience. Please ensure children are dressed warmly for outdoor recess and remind them that staying active helps both body and mind. If you need any winter weather clothes, please reach out to your child’s teacher or the office.
We are grateful for the strong support our families provide at school athletics. To ensure that these events remain enjoyable and respectful for all, we ask parents to model positive behavior from the sidelines. Cheering for effort, demonstrating good sportsmanship, and respecting officials, coaches and students and parents from other school teams- reinforces the values we teach our students both on and off the field. Your encouragement helps create a welcoming environment where every child feels valued and proud to represent our school.
As we begin 2026, let’s focus on growth, gratitude, and community. Every child has unique strengths, and together we can nurture them. Thank you for your ongoing support in making our school a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place to learn.
